Riverview Park 5K Run & Fitness Walk

The Riverview Park 5K Run & Fitness Walk takes place every June in the hidden gem that is Riverview Park on Pittsburgh's Northside. A unique race due to the fact that it takes place in the evening (7pm start), this community based 5K event takes participants through the scenic park, complete with a trip around the Allegheny Observatory on Observatory Hill. The event kicks off a weekend of fun activities in Riverview Park, with the City of Pittsburgh Office of Special Events presenting Riverview Park Heritage day the day after the race. The course is a challenging one as well, with the last mile being almost all uphill! The Riverview Park 5K Run & Fitness Walk is presented by the City of Pittsburgh Office of Special Events in partnership with Observatory Hill, Inc.
