4th Annual Book it Through Pittston 5K Run & Fun Walk in Honor of the Tom & Dianne Tigue Literacy Program

Mission Statement: The Pittston Memorial Library provides materials and services to all residents of Luzerne County enabling them to obtain information, free of charge, for their personal, educational, recreational and professional needs.  Our mission is to continue to broaden these services, to stimulate their use and to become the lifelong learning center of the community.

In Honor:  This race is being held in honor of Tom and Dianne Tigue.

Race Date: Saturday, September 7th, 2019

Race Registration/Packet Pick-up:  From 7:45am - 8:45am at the Pittston YMCA on Main St. in Pittston, PA.

Race Start: 9am

Course:  The course used will be the well known Tomato Festival Course.  The course is relatively flat with some moderate hills.  It is a 5k loop around the perimeter of Pittston including running over the two bridges.  The walk is a 1.5 mile fun walk.

Entry: Runners are $25 pre-registration and $30 after August 16th.  Walkers are $20.

Features/Awards:  Trophies will be awarded to the Top Overall Male and Female runners. Medals to the first place Male/Female in the following categories:
