Vintondale Homecoming 5k

RACE IS CANCELLED FOR  2019.     Red, White, and Blue Run! In order to celebrate the end of summer and labor day weekend, the 5k this year will have a red, white, and blue theme. Everyone participating in the race, and wearing red, white, and blue will receive a prize! The participant with the "Most Patriotic" look will receive a medal. We are on our 6th year for the 5k, but this is the first year we are doing the Red, White, and Blue Run and we are excited to see what everyone will come up with at the starting line!

Runners and walkers are welcome of any age. The course is on the Ghost Town Trail, past the historic Eliza Furnace and through the scenic trail. Medals go to the top 3 finishers in each age category. But the 5k isn't all there is to enjoy, after awards are given out, there will be the Annual Vintondale Homecoming. This celebration includes food, drinks, games, and music. There are many activities for children and the whole family, so bring everyone down to Vintondale to celebrate our town and our heritage together. 

Included with registration is a T-shirt designed by the Vintondale Homecoming Committee, only guaranteed if you register by August 16th. If you would like to volunteer for the event or help in any way, please contact us.
