Hope is where….. You, the givers are! This is a 5k walk/run/wheel benefiting Ray of Hope International Foundation www.letsgivehope.org. Ray of Hope (ROH) is based in Philadelphia USA (www.letsgivehope.org) & focuses on empowerment, education, and healthcare. ROH has raised more than $200k in 7 years through various fundraising events (dance recitals, dinners, bowling, beauty, and yoga events etc) to help Gwalior Children's charity and a local nursing home for disabled called Ingis in Philadelphia. Our two causes are as follows:

  1. Healthcare, education & sustainability: At Gwalior Children's charity (orphanage, school & rural health program), ROH supports mobile rural clinics six days a week in 43 surrounding villages for health care and awareness along with vaccination as well as transportation to children to be able to attend school etc., covering a population of approx. 120,000 people mostly belonging to the disadvantaged community. ROH has also established many long-term capital projects such as water storage tank, ambulance for emergency care, boundary wall and solar panels to improve sustainability.
  2. Empowerment through technology: Here in Philly, at Inglis House based in Belmont Avenue, Ray of Hope has focused on dedicating cool adaptive technology to empower and enable 300+ disabled residents to stay connected with the world. Examples include several new computer workstations in the quiet area of the Lab to enable people to read at their leisure, with large print monitors,  eye-gaze technology, a device which enables a person to use eye movements to operate a computer or tablet.

We look forward to seeing you at our walk/run/wheel event on October 6th - come with your family and friends and participate in anyway that makes you happy, all for a great cause. Thank you
