Come join the Avon Grove community for this fun family event to support the Avon Grove High School Cross County teams. This is a well-marked and marshaled rolling cross-country course. Post-race awards, refreshments, and raffle prizes. We will be raffling off prizes based on bib number around 9:15 AM. Awards for top male and female as well as top 3 male and female runners in 10-year age groups. (Avon Grove Cross Country Team Runners are ineligible for awards). Race T-shirts and requested sizes are guaranteed if you register before September 11; after which T-shirts are available while supplies last (size not guaranteed).

The funds raised will be used to supplement the cost associated with running a successful cross-country program as well as to enrich the AGHS running programs. Participating in a high school athletic program provides many benefits including establishing a healthy lifestyle at an early age, lower rates of diabetes and high blood pressure, and improved cardiovascular and pulmonary function. Participating in sports has also been associated with higher grades, an increase in self-confidence, self-respect, and leadership skills. Last year, we had a fantastic turnout for the race with nearly 200 registered runners and over 30 wonderful sponsors. This is a huge community event open to the public.

The timing will be done by Chester Country Racing Services with Chip timing!  Also, the course will be same as previous years being located at the old Avon Grove high school.  It is a 3 loop course on mostly grass with some pavement and finishing on the track.  It is the same course that the Avon Grove high school cross country team uses.

After the race, stick around for the Avon Grove Homecoming Parade and Festivities and experience for yourself the energy and camaraderie of the AG community!
