Thank you for your interest and participation in the Tenth Annual Party in Pink 5K. Your safety in attendance at this event is always our priority. We continue to monitor the unprecedented circumstances of COVID-19 and make adjustments to race procedures as needed. We will once again provide a virtual opportunity for those who would prefer to participate on their own time with less social interaction.
For those who choose to participate in-person and in real-time, we have guidelines to promote a safe and fun opportunity. Please read through the instructions below and be respectful of other participants and volunteers at the event. (Guidelines may be subject to change as circumstances and recommendations from public health are updated): (Updated 2/4/2022):
While people are no longer required to wear a mask outdoors, CDC continues to recommend people who are not fully vaccinated wear a mask in these areas to protect themselves and others.
Packets will be available for curbside pick-up at Tharp Design (307 A Avenue) on Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 3PM-7PM and on race day (Friday, June 17) at Riverside Park beginning at 4PM.
Bibs will be pre-assigned.
This year’s race will be a traditional start/finish line. Participants who are concerned are encouraged to move to the back of the line and delay their start until all other racers have cleared the area. We've added a 10K route this year with a 6PM start time for the 10K run, 5:45PM start time for the Kid's Race and 6:15PM start time for the 5K and 1-mile Walk/Run participants.
Please plan ahead for hydration. There will be no water stations along the 5K race route and a single water station located on the second half of the 10K race route. Single-serving bottles of water will be available at the start/finish line before and after the event. If you need water during the race, you must furnish your own. Please note, cookies will not be provided at the end of the race as they have in years past.
It is recommended you bring hand sanitizer for use throughout the event though limited supplies will be available on-site.
An award presentation will be held at the end of the event though awards will be mailed to participants if needed. Please make sure your contact and mailing information is correct when registering for the event.
A first aid station will be on-site.
