Cancelled - 2020 Narrow River Road Race
Unfortunately, we have cancelled the 2020 Narrow River Road Race to stay in compliance with local, state and federal recommendations to slow the spread of COVID 19.
We are saddened to have had to cancel the 33rd Annual Narrow River Road Race, but we are proud to do our part to slow the spread of the virus to protect our neighbors, friends and family.

Description
Please join us for the 33rd Annual Narrow River Road Race!
Join us for a scenic 10K run, 5K run or 5K walk along Narrow River as we raise awareness and funds for Narrow River Preservation Association!
* OVERALL WINNERS! Prizes will be awarded to first place male and female finishers in the 10K run, 5K run and 5K walk.
Awards also will also be given to male and female winners of each age category in the 10K run and 5K run.
* PRIZES! All awards will now come with prizes! Each winner will be given the chance to select a gift card from a local business. Overall winners will be given a prize package containing several gift cards.
* TEAMS! We now welcome teams. Teams in two categories, ‘School’ or ‘Friends and Family’, will compete against each other. Teams will be scored by their first three finishers and winning teams in the 10K run and 5K run will receive a prize package.
* PERFORMANCE T SHIRTS! For an additional $5, you can receive a performance T shirt instead of our usual cotton T shirt.
* JOIN NRPA! registration now includes the option to donate $20 to become a member of NRPA, making is super easy for you to support our work to preserve, protect and restore the Narrow (Pettaquamscutt) River and its Watershed.

Course
The USA Track & Field (USATF) certified 10K course (#RI19002RN) starts and finishes at the Narragansett Town Beach.
The 5K course (#RI19003RN) begins at Treaty Rock Park on Middlebridge Road in South Kingstown and finishes at the Narragansett Town Beach.
Shuttle buses from the Registration area to Treaty Rock Park begin at 9:00 a.m. 5K runners and walkers must check in by 9:30am in order to catch the bus to the 5K starting line.
Timing and Results
All events will be timed with results posted by Spitler Race Systems.
Entry Fee
Fee for 5K run and walk:
$25 if received by April 22
$30 if received by May 7
$35 the day of the race
Fee for 10K run:
$30 if received by April 22
$35 if received by May 7
$40 the day of the race
Become a Member of NRPA
Donate $20 when you register and become a member of NRPA. Membership supports NRPA’s efforts to preserve and protect the Narrow River.
T-shirts are given to the first 300 entrants, Performance T shirts are available while supplies last for an additional $5.
Please, no strollers, skateboards or pets.
