In consideration of you accepting this entry, I, the participant, intending to be legally bound, hereby waive or release any and all right and claims for damages or injuries that I may have against the Event Director, RunSignUp.com, and all of their agents assisting with the event, sponsors and their representatives and employees for any and all injuries to me or my personal property. This release includes all injuries and/or damages suffered by me before, during or after the event. I recognize, intend and understand that this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, or assignees.

I certify as a material condition to my being permitted to enter this race that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained for the completion of this event and that my physical condition has been verified by a licensed Medical Doctor. By submitting this entry, I acknowledge (or a parent or adult guardian for all children under 18 years) having read and agreed to the above waiver.

I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not participate unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete this event. I assume all risks associated with running this event (or series) including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effect of weather, traffic, and conditions of the road, all such risks being known and understood by me, having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry. I further agree to abide by the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) recommendations for the prevention of the spread of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) and other communicable diseases, and I attest to having read the CDC’s guidance at: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/about-covid-19.html I assume all such risks being known, appreciated, and accepted by me.  I, for myself, and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the East Avenue Grocery Run, Third Presbyterian Church, City of Rochester, County of Monroe, USATF Niagara Association, Sponsors and agencies and municipalities, their representatives, and successors from all claims or liability of any kind arising out of my participation in this event. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.
