This is my first year as Assistant Coach with RHC! I've run with Jake and the 1:30 half marathon group for 3 years now.
I ran my first half marathon on the back of minimal training and reading Born To Run at the 2015 Aramco Half Marathon, and since then I have become addicted. I PR'd earlier in 2020 with a 1:28:53 at the Woodlands Half Marathon.
I implore each and everyone to remember in addition to the time goals we have for running, remember to enjoy the journey and small milestones as well. We might not hit every goal, but that's the beauty of it - there's always another day, race or training session to hit your target. The cumulative effort over time adds credits to the bank.
I have made some sensational, lifelong friends through running and encourage everyone to make the most of these relationships.
