I realized my true passion for running while training for my first half marathon in 2019. In 2021, I decided that I would attempt to run a full marathon, but I did not want to train alone this time. I discovered Runner’s High Club (RHC) while registering for the Chevron Marathon and wanted to learn more about the club, so I attended a pre-season run and I was immediately sold. After my first impression I felt confident that this group could help me accomplish my goal, but I ended up gaining so much more from the experience.
After my first marathon season at RHC, I learned a lot about running (through others’ advice and personal experiences), made many friends, and ultimately finished 20 minutes under my goal finish time at the race.
Training for a marathon may seem like an intimidating challenge, but Runner’s High Club’s program will take the guesswork out and make it possible. I hope to train with you this season!
