Memorial Day is an American holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military.
This Memorial Day on Monday, May 30th some staff members of Upstate Ultra and the Upstate Running Club will be running a 100k relay to help raise $1000 for for some of our local non profit partners who aid Military Service Men and Women and their families.

The WAR Fund
- The Wounded and Recovering Fund was set up by Greenville County Deputies after several serious Line of Duty injuries in the past years. These serious injuries caused deputies to experience financial hardships after the incident due to the loss of work, secondary employment, medical bills etc.

- Fellow Countrymen is a community-based nonprofit committed to ending Veteran homelessness within the Upstate of South Carolina

Upstate Running Club
- The Upstate Running Club as a non profit organization with the state of South Carolina and the federal internal revenue service. Our goal is to bring our passion of running to the youth of the Upstate by providing FREE organized runs, training sessions, and racing opportunities throughout the year.
This is not a race or a group run but feel free to come out and join us as we commemorate Memorial Day and help connect the community of the 1000's of military service men and women of the Upstate.
