The Surfside Rotary Turkey Trot 5K/10K features a view of the ocean as you begin your race and a run along Ocean Blvd. The race continues through the beautiful neighborhood and streets of Surfside Beach.  Get the entire family involved with our free Gobbler Kids' Dash! There is also a Virtual option for those unable to attend in person. Runners, Walkers, and Strollers are all welcome!! For those wanting to challenge themselves while supporting several local Rotary clubs, this race marks the 2nd race of a 3-leg journey to earn a special finisher gift for participating in all 3 Rotary 5Ks for 2024! Registration links for those races are below.

Race Info:

• No water stop on 5K course
• 1 water stop on 10K course
• 5K/10K race begins at 8:00am
• 10K participants must adhere to the time limit of 1:33 hours/15 minute mile pace
• Gobbler Kids' (50 yards) Dash begins at 9:15am
• Gun timing for overall awards
• Chip timing for age group awards
• Runners and walkers are all WELCOME!
• Animals are not permitted on the race course and will result in disqualification. Service animals as recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are permitted on course. Those participating with a service animal must inform staff at bib pickup and are asked to begin at the back of the race for safety purposes.
• Baby joggers, baby strollers, skate boards, roller blades, unauthorized bicycles or any other wheeled device are not permitted on the race course and will result in disqualification. Wheelchairs, mobility aids, etc. as recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are permitted on course. Those participating with a recognized device must inform staff at bib pickup and are asked to begin at the back of the race for safety purposes.
• Virtual option only available until October 31
• Post race water and snacks available for participants

• Registration closes Thursday, November 28 at 7:00am
• Gobbler Kids' Dash is free but participants must register online

• Wednesday, November 27 from 4:00-7:00pm at Native Sons (1519 Executive Avenue, MB)
• Thursday, November 28 from 6:45-7:45am near the start/finish line

Parking:

• Free parking adjacent to Ocean Blvd./Surfside Pier
• Do not park in driveways

• Portos near the start/finish line
