As a show of solidarity and support to the industry's response to children in crisis, we are welcoming volunteers to come alongside and help make this event successful. Industry volunteers will be participating in the following areas: Volunteer!
Callers: Call registered runners in advance of the event and follow up to make sure they have all the required information on the race. We would also like to use the opportunity to ask runners if they are interested in using the race to do fundraising, while educating them more on what Mission 500 does.
Mission 500 Booth Staff: Help sign-up runners and give them more information on the race. This only takes place on the first day of ISC West (March 18th).
Bag Stuffers: Help to prepare the race bags the day before the race, inserting water bottles and other promotional material. This takes place on March 17th.
Race Registration Staff: Bright and cheerful people are needed to register runners and hand out race bibs and timing tags on race day.
Cheerleaders: Hold up signs, applaud and encourage runners—a vital role to play in making the event fun! This is also a great way for "Phantom" runners to participate!
Set-up: Involves setting up banners and decorations on race day at race, and reception room.
If you are able to help, albeit only for a couple of hours on the day of the race, please contact Kat at firstname.lastname@example.org.
