COVID Safety Protocols

The Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County will be implementing strong safety measures to allow for a safe, socially distant Sharon's Ride.Run.Walk 2021 in the COVID-19 environment.

Social distancing: All people within the venue need to leave space between themselves and others. Staff, volunteers and attendees will be instructed to stay at least 6 feet apart whenever possible.

Hygiene: Hand sanitizer, visible hand washing stations and disinfectant wipes will be readily available around the event venue.

Face coverings: Staff, volunteers and attendees are required to wear masks or face coverings properly at all times around the event venue. Disposable gloves will also be encouraged and provided for staff. CLICK HERE – Proper use of face coverings World Health Organization (WHO).

Screening: We will be temperature screening all event staff and volunteers. Individuals with a body temperature greater than 100.4° Fahrenheit, or 38° Celsius, will be sent home.
