Solana Highlands 15th Annual Dolphin Dash

Thank you for registering for the Dolphin Dash!  Below are detailed instructions to make registration easier (I know it looks long, but it is fast and simple - I promise).

• Click on Sign Up.
• Click the button next to “minor,” enter your student’s name, your email address, and create a password.
  • Click the button next to “Solana Highlands Dolphin Dash.”
  • Adults and siblings can also register by clicking on “Add another registrant.”
  • Click “continue.”
• Read the waiver, check the box to approve the waiver for each participant, and click “continue.”
• Select a teacher for each participant and then click “continue.”
  
  • If you are registering a sibling who doesn't currently attend Solana Highlands, then choose “sibling” from the pull-down list.
  • If you are registering an adult, then choose “parent/guardian” from the pull-down list.
• Set up your personal pledge page to help raise money for the Discovery Labs.
  • You must set up a fundraising page.  However, it is your choice if you send the link to family and friends to ask for donations. And yes, due to how runsignup.com is set up, every registrant must set up a different fundraising page (sorry for the added steps).
  • Customize what you want your fundraising page to say:
    • Enter your fundraiser name (either your actual name or a cool nickname like Fast-as-lightning Frank)
    • Set your fundraiser goal (suggestion is $75 per student)
    • You can create your own link to send to family and friends to ask for donations or pledges (for example: runsignup.com/FastAsLightningFrank)
    • You can also change the personal message and heading that will be on your webpage.
    • After you register, you will receive an email on how to share your link with your family and friends so they can support your goal to raise money for the Discovery Labs at Solana Highlands.
• Optional (but encouraged and appreciated):  Make a donation to the Solana Beach Schools Foundation to help support the Discovery Labs at Solana Highlands.  Click “continue.” 
  • If you want to decide how your donation is split among several students (fun-run fundraisers), then please make your donation by clicking on the links in the fun-run fundraiser setup emails you will receive after you finish registration and not at this step.  Thank you!
• Select whether or not you want to receive reminder emails and what time zone you are in.  Click “continue.”
• Review your information and complete registration.
• You will receive an email confirming your registration.  Click on the link in the email to print your race bib.  
• You will receive an additional email with the link for your personal fun-run fundraiser page.  Please email that link to family and friends and ask them to support you in the Dolphin Dash.  You can also make your personal donation using this link.  If you would like to offer people the option to pledge a donation based on miles, please follow the instructions in that email.  
• Run or walk!  Starting March 11, you can click on the link in your registration email (or search for participant on the website) to enter your daily miles.  Have fun!
