Your child can enjoy one of the inflatables in our Activity Zone. Kids ages 8–13 can race down the inflatable obstacle course, while those ages 3–7 can enjoy the moonwalk bouncing area and slide. For safety reasons, children must be within the designated age range to participate. Both inflatables will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Gear up for the race with a free Michigan Mile temporary tattoo, available in front of the stadium.
Stop and visit the clowns, Clueless and Toothpic, who will be crafting balloon animals; limit one per child. Sharon will also be available to provide face painting for children. The clowns and face painter will be on the main concourse from 8 to 11:30 a.m.
You’ll find a smaller finish line balloon arch in front of the stadium for the perfect photo opportunity where children can recreate their own picture-perfect finish. They’ll be able to show off their shiny medal and pose with friends or family.
After the race, spend the day with Be a Tourist in Your Own Town from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A $1 passport allows you to explore over 90 attractions for free on Saturday, June 6. Race participants receive one voucher for a FREE passport in their race bag. Additional passports for friends and family can be purchased for $1 each at the Stadium on race day starting at 8:30 a.m.. CATA provides transportation to the majority of the attractions for 50 cents per person.
