Stevenson Falls Half Marathon

Sun May 21, 2017 Big Creek, CA 93605 US Directions

Parking

*UPDATE*: We will NOT need to use Shuttles to get to the Start/Finish Area. Participants that purchased an additional shuttle pass will be refunded in the next couple days. Please see the following link for updated directions to the Start/Finish Area CLICK HERE Once you reach Canyon Rd you will see signs for the race. (Click Here for the route down Canyon Road) You will make a left on Canyon Road where there will be an SCE employee to let you in through the gate. From the gate it is approximately 5 miles downhill to the parking area & Start/Finish Area, once again we'll have signs pointing you in the correct direction.  Canyon Road has a 20mph speed limit, please turn on your headlights as well. The road is well maintained but does get narrow in some sections so please take your time, stay off your cellphone and keep your eyes on the road (it's insanely beautiful but please wait until you park to look around). Please have your bib number ready to present at the gate on Canyon Road in order to pass through the gate.

-Multiple shuttles will be waiting at the Shaver Lake Community Center parking area and will leave promtly at 0700am. If you miss the shuttles you will miss the event. Shuttles will wait near the Start/Finish Line until runners complete the race and bring them back to the Community Center. You must have  your race number or confirmation email to board the race shuttle.

-Unfortunately only registered particpants will be allowed on the shuttles and race course.

-Spectators have the option of purchasing a $20 shuttle pass which will allow them to watch their runners start and finish the race.

-Spectators will not be allowed on the course beyond the start line; No exceptions
-Event Parking will be located near the Shaver Lake Community Center. Runners will be shuttled from the Community Center to the Start/Finish Line down on Million Dollar Road.
-Due to the remote location of this event runners will have to park roughly 9 miles from the Start/Finish Line. The course is located on private property owned and operated by Southern California Edison so all participants will have to take the shuttle to and from the Start/Finish Area.
-Participants will not be allowed to drive down to the Start/Finish Line.

Important: You must be able to complete the Full Distance in 3 hours & 20 mins or maintain a minimum average pace of 15 minutes per mile.
