Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone and Catholic Health are hosting the 9th Annual
Catholic Health Suffolk County Marathon to Support Our Veterans this October 19tht &
20th, 2024.
With 1.5 million people, including 90,000 veterans residing in Suffolk County, we are
proud to host this event and hope you can join us in honoring our local heroes. In
previous years, this event has drawn approximately 4,000 attendees, and 2021’s race
included over 2,300 runners from 21 states and eight countries. The Marathon, Half
Marathon, and 10K race will once again start in the Village of Babylon. Athletes will run
one of the most scenic courses on Long Island, running across the Robert Moses
Causeway. The 5K will feature a brand new course that showcases the beauty and
views of Gardiner County Park in West Islip. To learn more please

Freedom Fest is an outdoor festival featuring live music and entertainment, local food,
and craft beer. The Festival is an exciting opportunity for your business to reach new
customers, build overall brand awareness, and drive repeat visitations to Suffolk
County.
Vendors will be highlighted in our promotional materials leading up to Freedom Fest on social media and in local downtowns! Don’t miss this great opportunity! Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
-Once the application is submitted and approved, Race Awesome will reach out for payment
-Details on space assignment, vendor unloading, and parking will be provided one to two weeks prior to the Festival
-The event will take place rain or shine. There will be no refunds for cancellations or no-shows. Vendors are responsible for keeping their leased areas clean
-All food and beverage vendors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permits through the Suffolk County Department of Health Services 631-852 5999/ HealthPHP@suffolkcountyny.gov
