The City of Covington Parks and Recreation Department have teamed up with Garland Baptist Church in the "Run to Glory" Series to sponsor a huge 5K run to help out with the mounting medical bills that have burdened down Ty's Family. The little man had a life changing heart reconstruction at 18 months old on May 23rd of this year with a 48% chance of making it through the surgery. The Doctors at Leboneur turned his little heart organs around, added a new wall to separate the left and right ventricles and made a new artery so that he could live past 2 years old. He is getting stronger every day and loved dearly by his family and church family. We are trying to help our little family keep their head above water.
