FRIENDS Buddy Run 5K

FRIENDS (Friends Reaching, Inspiring & Educating Neighbors about Down Syndrome) will be hosting our second annual 5k and Family Walk with Special Needs Dash. Friends supports over 100 individuals with Ds from birth to adulthood. Our organization provides resources, valuable programs, and events for families and caregivers affected by Ds. In our 15 years since inception, we have become an important part of the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas, both internal and external to the special needs population.  Many activities are held monthly for our members free of charge. and serve the needs of our children, teens, young adults, and parents such as bowling, Wallabies, movie nights, Mom’s Night Out, and speaker workshops. Our most popular events are our whole family gatherings, such as our Christmas and summer social events. Proceeds from this event will be used to support these programs that help us to build a strong and supportive community that last a lifetime. 

You must register by April 5th to guarantee a shirt is your size!!!!

Online registration ends at 9:00pm on Thursday, April 20th. Registration price increases $5 on day of race registration. 

Early packet pick-up will be on Friday, April 21st 4pm-6pm at Fleet Feet in Johnson City (302 Buffalo Street, Suite 100. Johnson City)
