Salvation Army Red Shield 5k Run and Walk

10:00am Saturday at Warrior's Path State Park. Get ready for the Red Shield Run! It is a 5k run/walk to benefit the Kingsport Salvation Army on April 7, 2018. Wear your best camouflage or army running attire (no fake or real weaponry, though!) and dash through the beautiful and peaceful state Park.
The Kingsport Salvation Army feeds over 65,000 meals per year, shelters over 9,000 individuals, and has a phenomenal youth program that sends kids to camp every summer. The Army also holds weekly youth and adult services, its food pantry provides over 1,100 boxes of food yearly, and its thrift store assists in clothing our city’s underserved. The Kingsport Salvation Army needs your help to raise money to keep providing these needed services in our city.
