Date, Time, & Place: Thursday November 25, 2021 in Downtown Knoxville. Pre-activities will be held at The Mill and Mine on West Depot. The Little Gobbler 1 mile Run starts at 8:00. The 5K starts at 8:30.

Course Description: Course Description: starting in front of the Mill and Mine, heading west on Depot St, left on Gay St. right on Cumberland Ave, left on Walnut St., right on Main St, left on Henley St, left on Blount Ave, left on Gay St, left on Main St, right on Walnut St, right on Cumberland Ave, left on Gay St, right on Depot to finish in front of the Mill and Mine. Little Gobbler Run is $10* for 12 and under.  Parents may run with their child for the Little Gobbler Run.  Parents will not receive a shirt or bib, unless they register for the 5K.  If a parent is also running the 5K, we ask that you do not run the Little Gobbler Run with your 5k bib.

T-shirts: Short-sleeved, unisex shirts. Please note our new shirt policy: Anyone registering after November 10th will receive shirts while supplies last. The shirt order will be placed on November 13th and when the inventory runs out in the RunSignUp system then there will be no more shirts. No re-orders.

Packet Pick Up Information: Wednesday, Nov 24, Mill and Mine 3:30pm-6:30pm (NOTE: volunteers will NOT be ready to hand out bibs before 3:30), Race Day, Mill and Mine, 6:30am-7:45am.  We strongly encourage you to pick up on Wednesday evening.  

Awards: Awards to the top 3 Overall, top Masters (As defined by fastest person age 40 and above, not limited to 40-49) Grandmasters (As defined by fastest person age 50 and above, not limited to 50-59), Senior Grandmasters (As defined by fastest person age 60 and above, not limited to 60-69) male and female. Awards to the top 3 in each age group as well as Overall Clydesdale (men over 200 lbs.) and Overall Athena (Women over 150 lbs.) Prizes not picked up on race day will be available at Eddie's Health Shoppe for two weeks following the event. Awards will not be shipped. Awards are based on gun time per USATF regulations.

Grand Prix Points: 2021 Grand Prix Presented by Threds Points awarded. Remember, to be eligible for Grand Prix awards, you must be a member of the KTC and you must volunteer for at least 3 events.

Refreshments: Light refreshments will be provided post race.  There will not be a water stop on course.  

Race Etiquette: Due to insurance regulations, roller blades, bicycles, and dogs are not allowed on the 5K course. The 5K course closes in 1 hour, 15 minutes.

KTC’s mission is to encourage lifelong physical well-being through running and walking. That is accomplished through a variety of events and programming.
The Knoxville Track Club puts the safety of its participants, spectators, staff and volunteers first. Dangerous weather conditions pose a unique challenge to an event of any size, distance or location.

Therefore, KTC has adopted the following Inclement Weather Policy:
Weather forecasts will be monitored prior to the event, with special attention placed on the possibility of heavy rain, thunder and lightning, high winds, extreme temperatures and humidity. If necessary, athletes will be made aware of these conditions on Knoxville Track Club’s website (, as well as through other available means of communication such as e-mail, Twitter, Facebook and public address announcements.
The Executive Director and Race Director in consultation, when available, with law enforcement, fire/EMS, other medical officers and other officials, will monitor the weather and make a decision if any action will be taken to modify the race. Possible changes include: Altering the start time, altering the course, or in extreme situations cancellation of the event. Visible lightning occurring within 30 minutes of the scheduled start will cause the race to be postponed for a minimum of 30 minutes. Additional sightings will continue to delay the race in 30-minute increments up to a maximum of 3 delays.
Race personnel reserve the right to delay, cancel, or suspend the race or modify the course due to inclement weather. As stated on registration and race pages, there are no refunds or transfers. Participants must abandon the race if ordered to do so by the race personnel, medical staff, fire/paramedics or police personnel.
