Welcome to the Knoxville Track Club’s RunKNOX Training Program. We are excited that you have found us! 

The RunKNOX mission is to develop a bonded community of runners who achieve balanced, healthy lifestyles and reach individual potential through the support of group training and the guidance of experienced coaches. Whether you are brand new to running, targeting a personal record race performance, or just looking to log miles with friends, we have a space for you in our group.

Each week you will receive the “RunDOWN” Newsletter. This email contains important training information for the upcoming week. Included are the week’s workout schedules, tips and tricks for better understanding of the sport, and an opportunity to highlight each other’s achievements.

We currently offer up to five workout opportunities each week (Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs/Sat)

·         We believe in a well-rounded fitness program. Yes, you have to run to get better at running, but we want you healthy and strong. We offer weekly BOOT CAMP workouts  and YOGA to keep you balanced. There is no need to be intimidated. Everyone can participate, as our instructors are great at modifying each workout to your specific needs/abilities.

·         We have two options for running our mid-week workouts: Tuesday @ 6pm and Wednesday @ 5am. These workouts are our traditional “fast” runs when we do intervals, tempo, and hill training. They are coach led, so you have plenty of opportunity to receive feedback and discuss your personal goals with our staff.

·         We meet on Saturday mornings for our weekly “long” run. (time and location vary by season)

While we structure our seasonal programming based on the KTC race schedule, you can train for any race with RunKNOX. We want to see you achieve your personal goals, so ask us how to incorporate your specific training into a current RunKNOX session. It is amazing to feel the strength that comes from a group support system!
