Description
On March 2, 2024 The Child Advocacy Center of Anderson County Tennessee is hosting a 5K Love Run in beautiful Norris, Tennessee. This race will benefit the Children in the Anderson County area.
This is being timed by https://www.totalracesolutions.com/ and will be a Run and See Series Event
The race will start at 9:00 a.m. at Norris Middle School. Sun Shine, Rain or Snow; You never know.
Following the Race there will be an abundance of Hot Chocolate for the young and for the young ones trapped in adult bodies.
All pre-registered runners are guaranteed a race day event T-Shirt; we do anticipate being able to provide a shirt to all participants.
There will be three aid & water stations on the 5K route.
Age Groups and Awards: 5K RACE Overall Awards
The First Male and First Female Finishers will be awarded an Overall Award and will not be eligible for a age group award.
Individual Awards
The top 3 finishers per the following age groups for male and female (10 & under, 11-13, 14-16, 17-19, 20-22, 23-25, 26-29, 30-33, 34-37, 38-41, 42-45, 46-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & up).
Team Awards will be given to the Winner of each Team Category.
1 Mile Fun Run Overall Award; Male and Female
5K Run Overall Award First Male and First Female Finishers.

FAQ's
The 5k is a certified, timed course.
The fun run is a 1 mile timed course.
Is there race day registration for the 5K Race?
There is race day registration but registration will end 1 hour prior to start of race. Registration on race day will only be available on the registrants smart phone or laptop.

Are strollers allowed in the race?
We want our race to be a family oriented event so we are allowing strollers to participate as long as they start near the back of the pack. It is very congested the first mile of the race and we want to keep everyone safe. So please use extra caution and please stay safe.
Are dogs allowed to run the race with us?
With large crowds pets can be excitable and with that said we would like to ask that your pet (regardless of size) be left at home for this event.
Can unregistered runners run with registered runners in the 5K Race?
We ask that you not allow anyone to participate in the race if they have not registered. We have record of all registered runners and once they have all completed the race we know the race is completed.
Can I volunteer for the event?
We greatly appreciate volunteers and you will receive a shirt if you sign-up before January 24.

Can someone pick up packets for multiple racers or simply for someone else?
YES, just make sure they can verify personal information for the individual or each person on the list when picking up their packets; information needed is name, DOB and age.
TEAM Packets will be sent to the Team Coach/Captain.
