Description

2nd Annual Mountain Harvest Metric Fun Ride. This ride is to raise awareness of the Mountain Harvest Kitchen and the businesses it is incubating. Riders will get to experience the harvest bounty from many area farms. There is a 100K and 50K option. All riders registered before the deadline will receive a commemorative tshirt.

Aid stations are being planned but we will try to keep them nearly the same as last year. Aid stations will have water and locally produced food items.

Road support is available for basic fixes (Help with flats, basic tools, transport back to start if needed).

Course is well marked and directions are provided on cue sheets. Routes available on Strava (will release small course alterations as soon as complete)

Food and refreshments after the event.

Schedule:

Ride Starts at 8, race day registration starts at 7. Try to be on site by at least 7:30 so you are ready for wheels up at 8.

Support:

- Your event bracelet will have a support phone number in case you need non-emergency help or bike support.

- Support will carry common tubes and an air pump (Schrader and Presta).

- This is just a fun ride! If you need to stop, try to stop at an aid station and call the support number for pickup, there is no shame in saving yourself for your “A” race.

Registration:

- Race day registration is available

- All Riders should report to the registration table to check-in

Door Prizes:

- When you return from your ride, check-in at the registration/beer tent. ALL RIDERS SHOULD CHECK BACK IN!

***No refunds are given for this event. You are allowed to transfer your registration to another participant.***

In the event of light to moderate rain, and the absence of any lightning, our goal is to proceed with the full event as long as road conditions are safe.

If there is lightning in the area, the event is placed into a weather hold and can be held for up to one hour.  If the lightning has departed the area, the ride can proceed as planned.

If after two hours of a weather hold and the event roads are determined to be unsafe, the event can be cancelled.

The events have a two hour weather hold timeframe.

Due to the nature of cycling events taking place generally in the outdoors, weather conditions can play a large role in the production of the event.  Because a significant amount of the funds collected during registration have been expended by the day of the event for the production of the event and because each event is uniquely scheduled for its date and location, registration refunds are not possible and rescheduling the event is not possible, and thus the no refund policy.
