Mountain Laurel 5K Postponed to TBD

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 event until May 8, 2021.
We looked at simply postponing our event until later in 2020, but we feel like there is simply to much uncertainty about when it would be safe to do so in the near future. We feel like it is in the best interest of our participants and volunteers to give our country sufficient time to develop a long term solution to this issue.
We will defer the participants who have already signed up for the 2020 event unless we receive requests to do otherwise.
We hope that everyone understands our decision and that each of you and your loved ones are safe from this pandemic.

Registration: 7:00am, Race Time: 8:00am.
Course is out and back on Asphalt and is a USATF- Certified Course TN17023MS
All Finishers will receive a medal!!
Bonus Cash Prize if you break the Course Record!!
Male Record: 16:59.2, Female Record: 19:51.5
Awards: Special Cash awards to top 3 overall Finishers. Awards to Top Male/Female. Master Finishers (40+), Grand Masters Finishers (50+)
Age Groups: Male/Female: 10 or under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
Participants are eligible for only one award.
Registration Fee: $25 Adults $15 Kids under 12. Late Registration is May 1st-9th and the cost will $30 for all registrants. Late registrants will receive t-shirts while supplies last
All Proceeds Benefit The Rains Foundation, which benefits students and charities with its fundraising efforts.
The Rains Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to the principles championed by Lyndon Rains: scholarship, athleticism, physical vigor, sportsmanship, commerce, entrepreneurship.
