5K @ 8:00 AM;  1M @ 9:00 AM ****

Our racing mission continues to be to produce affordable, hedonistically fun & athletically competitive races, that are technically sound (correctly-measured courses with minimum turns and visible distance – mile or Km – markers),  that also benefit some charity(-ies) with a populist & gender parity focus – for the average runner/walker (including the novices) and also for the seasoned, serious racer****.

The eleventh edition  of the August Gusto 5K / 1 Mile Run/Walk will engage the trails at beguilingly attractive River Legacy Parks. Come join us, have an august marvelous time, get a lovely leg workout and at the same time lend a helping hand to Arlington Charities, a compassionate facility helping some of the needy families in our midst.. See you there. This race is the last or anchor leg of  the Summer Scintillation Troika (SST) series.  ****

By the way, as in past years, there will be a special recognition award for everyone that registers for all three SST races. ****

Net proceeds from the race will benefit Arlington Charities --  “catering to some of the needy families in our midst.”  ****
