Peticolas Running Club Social Run/Walk - OctoBEER

Boos and brews! Don't be scared, but today is a day that sky watchers can check out the 'ring of fire' which is a rare annular solar eclipse that will cross the Texas sky with a stellar path view! This is a rare event, as the moon's orbit is at its farthest point from Earth which creates the moon to appear slightly smaller than usual, and for this reason, it leaves a ring of light around the sun as it crosses in front of it and its appearance as a "ring of fire." The eclipse only lasts five minutes and will end in Texas at 12:03pm Central time. Come on out and join our beer pacers for a three-mile boos run/walk, then grab some breakfast, Peticolas brews and monthly raffle too! 

Check in is between the hours of 8AM-9AM. You can start your run/walk whenever you would like or join the 'group' start at 8:30AM and run with the group! The rolling start allows you a choice, flexibility to go at your pace but please arrive by 9am (check in ends promptly at 9AM, thank you!).

Along the trail there will be mile markers out, and bottled water available to take with you (there is no water on the course), or bring your own filled water bottle.

The social run includes the run/walk, a custom branded pint glass, three brews and That Taco Dude breakfast. The three Peticolas brews can be enjoyed anyway you want, meaning, you can drink all three in the Taproom as drafts or have one draft and then take two cans TO GO or in any combination.

SOCIAL RUN SCHEDULE
8:00 AM-9:00 AM: Check in and start the social run/walk (rolling start between 8:00 AM-9:00 AM) OR
8:30 AM: “Group” Start (for those who want to run with a group)
9:30 AM: Breakfast
10:30 AM: Social run raffle
11:00 AM: Last call
11:30 AM: Social run/walk ends

NOTES & TIPS
-Check in is between the hours of 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM on the day of the social run/walk.
-The group start is at 8:30 AM, if you want to run or walk with the group, check in before that time.
-Social runs/walks are rain or shine, if weather is bad, we just drink the brews and eat the food indoors and have a great time at the brewery.
-No dogs please, we love them but due to liability reasons they are not allowed.
-Like the Velvet Hammer 5K, there are no refunds, once you are registered, you are registered.
-Bring your ID.
-Kids in strollers are always welcome and always free.
-You can purchase additional beer to go or merchandise at the brewery.

SOCIAL RUN REGISTRATION & TICKET PRICING: Purchase tickets online for $30, all transactions are done online. Social Run Includes: A That Taco Dude breakfast, three delicious brews from Peticolas and a custom Peticolas social run branded glass. The social runs/walks are rain or shine and there are no refunds and there is no advance packet pick up.  Once you register, you are registered. If you don't come pick up your social run goodies between the hours of 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, you lose it, no exceptions. Masks inside the brewery in the common areas are recommended but are not required. Please be considerate of each other's decision!
