Come RUN THE RIVER with us and stay for the post-race party the whole family can enjoy!
Run the River is an organized family and dog friendly 5k run/walk and concert to benefit the children of Rehema Home. We invite runners and walkers of all levels to join us this year for the inaugural event that would not be possible without the support of our donors and sponsors: Alchemy Pops, Camp Gladiator, Craftwork Coffee Co, Fort Worth Running Company, Legacy 4, Mode Fitness, Pelletier's Palette, Seitz Design, Taco Heads, Thrivent Financial, Rahr and Sons Brewing Company, and Road ID. Following the run/walk, hang around and enjoy live music, food, and a lot of fun!
Race entry gets you: t-shirt, taco ticket, beer ticket (21+)
Awards: Medals will be given to the top overall male and female finishers. Medals will also be given to the top male and female finishers in each age division as well as 4 weeks of free bootcamp with Camp Gladiator.
Onsite registration will be offered at 8:00 AM. Camp Gladiator will lead a group warm-up prior to the start of the race.
Children under 10 years of age are welcome to participate at no cost. Age based pricing for participants 10-20 years of age starts at $20 and will automatically be applied at checkout.
All of the net proceeds from this race will go directly to Rehema Home. Please help us make Fort Worth known around the world as a community that not only knows how to have FUN, but also GIVES BACK!

About Rehema Home
Rehema Home is one organization with two distinct locations, two international fundraising offices, and a worldwide family of supporters—but at the end of the day, they are a Home. Rehema Home is a Kenyan organization, founded in 1998 by Kenya leaders who refused to ignore the orphan crisis in their communities. They currently care for just under 100 children, a quarter of whom are HIV positive. The Homes are located in urban Nairobi and rural Bukura. Learn more at rehemahome.org.
FAQ
Q: Where and when is packet pick-up?
A: Packets will be available for pick up on Friday November 4th at Fort Worth Running Company from 10 AM-7 PM.
Q: Where do I park?
A: You can park in the event parking lot or along Clear Fork Main St in marked parking spaces only. There is NO on-street parking for unmarked spaces. Parking is free.
Q: Will there be onsite registration?
A: Yes, there will be registration at the race site at an increased cost, $30 for individuals 10-20 years of age and $40 for individuals 21+.
Q: Are strollers allowed?
A: Yes, but we ask that you please start the race near the back of the lineup to allow the runners a head start and to avoid potential collisions.
