Join Sonic Endurance coaches and athletes in the sunny and warm beach town of Galveston Texas for this early season camp.  You’ll train on beautiful roads along the Gulf Coast throughout the weekend, hear from Sonic coaches on their experiences throughout the races, and receive tips and advice to have your season yet.  This is the perfect tune up for both Galveston 70.3 and Ironman Texas.  Not racing Texas? No problem! This camp is for athletes of all abilities.  We'll have coaches leading swims, bikes and runs for beginner through advanced athletes.  Come get a fantastic training weekend that is fully supported with on-site mechanical and SAG support for the bike and plenty of nutrition. 

Our Texas Training Camp will feature the following:

Lodging for four days and three nights (Thursday through Sunday)
Coached group training sessions for swim, bike, and run
Vehicle SAG support for cycling and long run session
Hydration and nutritional support
Breakfast and dinner included
Camp officially begins on Thursday March 21st and runs through Sunday, March 24th.

Camp Schedule


3-4 PM: Check In at the House

4:30PM: Short Run

6PM: Welcome Dinner in Town

7PM: Group discussion of Goals and Goal setting


7AM: Breakfast at the House

8AM: Pool Workout (Long Swim) with USMS coaches on deck

11:30: Lunch at the House

1PM: Medium Bike

3PM: OWS Clinic: Tips, Tricks, and Practice

6PM: Dinner On your Own

7PM: Discussion of Courses for Both Texas 70.3 and IMTX


6AM: Breakfast at the House

7AM: Long Bike.  Either one loop (56 miles) or 2 (112) Fully supported with SAG and Nutritional support.  Guides available at varying paces for both distances. Transition run off the bike.

PM: Optional Pool Swim for those doing the shorter ride.

6PM: Dinner at the House

7PM: Psychologist Guest Speaker


7AM: Breakfast at the House

8AM: Long Run (Varying distances depending on goal race) Nutrition support on course.

1PM: Brunch/Lunch wrap up in town.
