Proceeds will benefit Carlos Ortiz. Carlos was involved in a horrible motorcycle wreck ten years ago. He had several broken bones (2 fingers, femur in his right leg, right upper arm-both bones, fractured ribs, dislocated 2 other fingers, torn ligaments in his right knee.) The most traumatic of the injuries he received; three nerves were pulled from his spinal cord resulting in paralysis of his right arm from the shoulder down. He has no use of his right arm at all. Six months after his accident we flew him to California for nerve surgery that was meant to give him at least partial use of his arm back. It did not work. We have been researching stem cell therapy for a few years and finally find what we hope to be the answer to his paralysis. This stem cell procedure is our best bet in him getting use of his arm back. Please join us in our fight to help Carlos regain use of his arm. Several people have asked him what would be the first thing he would do if he got use of his arm back... his answer... Hold his boys with both arms!
