5th Annual Western Son Distillery Dash 5K

YEAR FIVE!  Five short years ago, we had an idea...running + booze + great venue + evening run = WIN WIN for everyone!

Join us again for year 5 at the coolest distillery in Texas, Western Son Distillery, in one of coolest small towns in North Texas, Pilot Point.  We continue with our traditional EVENING run beginning at 6pm.  Let’s share three miles on a flat, FAST course followed by a cold drink and music at the WESTERN SON DISTILLERY.

All Race Levels are welcome!  Each racer (21 and older) will get ONE FREE drink at the distillery!  All will enjoy music, (non-alcoholic) drinks, snacks and an evening of outdoor fun at the distillery. 

We will also continue with our WALKERS and STROLLER Racers this year!  We want EVERYONE to have an opportunity to get on the podium.  The FASTEST walking male and female and FASTEST stroller pusher will get their podium fame in May!

Don't want to actually participate in the event but want to cool swag and FREE DRINK, register as a VIRTUAL participant and get all the same race swag without the sweat! Win. Win!

Cost:  Age Group Racers, Walkers, Stroller Racers, Virtual Participants - $30, Kids (5 - 9) $15, Kids 4 and under - Free

Race Schedule:

Check in: begins at 4:30 pm
Race Begins:  promptly at 6:00 pm
Awards:  7:15 pm
Event Wrap Up:  9:00 pm 
Packet Pick Up:   TBD
Race Day Packet Pick Up available beginning at 4:30 pm 
Parking: is FREE - arrive in plenty of time to allow for walking time to check in. For the safety of all participants and those visiting the distillery on race day, there will be NO parking at the distillery, on Division Street or in the business lot across from the distillery.  There is plenty of parking at the square in Pilot Point, which is a two block walk from the distillery.  There is also parking next to the library on business 377.  

Race SWAG:  1 free drink at Western Son (21 and older will receive a wrist band for free drink), race medal, t-shirt, free finisher photos, music, $5 discount on liquor at the distillery (must have race bib to receive discount, 2 bottle maximum)

Male/Female Runners: 3 deep each age group: 10–20, 21–30, 31–40, 41–50, 51–60, 60 and above
Walkers:  Fastest Male and Female walkers ::  Stroller Racers: Fastest Male and Female :: Kids: Top 3 male and female ages 5 - 9  
What to bring:  ID, CC, Cash, your fastest running shoes and a big SMILE! :)

**You MUST have your ID with you for registration AND to receive your FREE drink – NO exceptions

**Race Day Registration: $35 non-competitive, $20 kids
