3rd Annual Día De Las Fresas Run/WalK

The  TRiCiTy Rd. Warriors & Poteet Rotary Club are hosting our 3rd Annual Dia De Las Fresas Run/Walk.  We are calling all Runners, Walkers, Cadets and Wheelchair participants, it is time to register for our 2022 EVENT. 

This event will Kick Off the Fall strawberry planting season and a much more!  We encourage everyone to run/walk, dress up in the Sugar Skull Strawberry theme or Monster Costume. The most important rule is to have Fitness Fun for a Cause. 

The funds raised will aid in Poteet Student Scholarships and Polio. The Rotary raises awareness and funds to erratic Polio Internationally. This event is more than a run. You will be taken from the Festival Grounds to the countryside, you will breathe in fresh air, and quietness. This is a great way to start off the fall. We make getting Fit 

COSTUME CONTEST: BEST DRESSED SUGAR SKULL STRAWBERRY THEMED & MOST ORIGINAL MONSTER COSTUME 

MEDALS TO FIRST 200 PARTICIPANTS who START and CROSS the FINISHLINE. MEDAL MUST BE EARNED 

REGISTRATION FEES: All entry fees are NON-TRANSFERABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE 

10K Registration Fee: Aug. 1-31, 2022 $35.00 + processing fee
5K Registration Fee: Aug. 1-31, 2022 $30.00 + processing fee

1 Mile Monster Mash Registration Fee $25.00 + processing fee 

Children 17 and under must register with parent’s consent. 

**PRICE INCREASE Starting September1-15, 2022 

10K Registration Fee: Sept. 1-15, 2022 $40.00 + processing fee 
5K Registration fee: Sept.1-15, 2022 $35.00 + processing fee
1 mile monster mash: Registration fee: $25.00 

***PRICE INCREASE starting Sept.16 –30, 2022 

10K Registration Fee: $45.00 + processing fee
5K Registration Fee: $40.00 + processing fee
1 Mile Monster Mash Late/Day of Registration Fee: $30.00 

TWO WEEKS SPECIAL:
FOR 2 WEEKS ONLY REGISTER FOR THE DIA DE LA FRESAS 10K/5K  FOR ONLY $25.00. ( + processing fee) THATS RIGHT $25.00. JULY 16-31, 2022. 

• DEADLINE TO REGISTER AND BE GUARNTEED YOUR SHIRT IS SEPT. 15, 2022. 

• T-SHIRTS: Will go to the first 200 registrants. So register A.S.A.P. this event will fill up FAST. 

SCHEDULE:

Friday, Oct. 28, 2022 from 5:00-7:30 p.m. Packet Pickup Location TBD 

Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022 from 6:00-7:00 a.m. Day of Registration and Packet Pickup 

7:30 a.m. 1 Mile Monster Mash Walk 7:45 a.m. start of the 10K Run 

8:00 a.m. start of the 5K Run/Walk 

**AWARDS 5K 
Masters Award to Male/Female
Awards to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in 8 age group categories 

Special Category for JROTC Cadets the 1st three Cadets in age (14-18)

Wheelchair Division 1st, 2nd and 3rd place

**AWARDS 10K 
Awards in 10K are the first 10 Male/Female ages (8-70+)

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
For the safety and well-being of all REGISTRANTS must be 7-70+ for the 5K and for the 10K ages 8-70+
