Salado Midnight Madness 5K

The Salado Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau and our sponsors are once again proud to present the coolest 5K in the heat of the Central Texas summer – the Midnight Madness 5K run!  This year we're bringing it back to Main Street!  Participants are encouraged to wear as much glow-in-the-dark and neon as possible to light up Salado.  Don't miss it!

Schedule of Events:

10:30 pm - 11:45 pm  - Registration and check-in in front of Brookshire Brothers.  This will be a chip-timed race.

11:45 pm - Runners take their places at the starting line at the crosswalk in front of Brookshire Brothers.

Midnight -  Shotgun start to a 5K course that travels south along Main Street, Royal to Baines and back.

1:00 am - Award ceremony including prize drawings

Awards will be presented in the following categories:

Plaques to Overall Male and Overall Female Runners

Medals to Top 3 Male & Female Finishers in each age group: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 & above

Register by July 24th to be guaranteed a T-shirt and swag bag.

Registration on Race Day (July 31, 2015) will start at 10:30 pm.  Entry fee night of the race will be $40.00 for adults and $30.00 for kids under 12 and military.  Cash or credit/debit cards preferred.

Cancellation Policy

Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and entries are NON-TRANSFERRABLE even in the event of cancellation or inclement weather.  Sorry, no exceptions.  Once we receive and accept your entry, we cannot issue a refund if you are unable to participate.  You  may  not give or sell your entry to anyone else.  You also may not transfer or defer your entry to the following year.
