Warrior Angels in Boots

#LaceUpSalado and come join us for our 5K fundraising event on Veteran's Day, Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Salado’s own Barrow Brewing Company! Walk, jog, or run, bring your furry friends and strollers! Come and join us to honor and support our Heroes in Boots! 

Want to support the campaign but don’t have the energy to complete the 5K? Sign up for the Zero K and your registration includes a pint from Barrow Brewery. Individuals will meet at the alternate starting line and proceed at a normal clip around the beer garden to be “awarded” a Golden Ale of their choice at the finish line. This Zero K is not timed. Start time is at 10:30am. All proceeds from your registration go to the Boot Campaign. 

All funds raised will be donated to Boot Campaign. Boot Campaign’s mission is to unite Americans to honor and restore the lives of veterans and military families through individualized, life-improving programs. Read more about them here: https://bootcampaign.org

PARKING: You can park at First Baptist Church parking lot (on Main Street), Serena Park Parking lot (next to Creek), and there's limited parking on Royal Street.

Awards given to the top solo male and female finishers in these age groups: 18-29, 30-45, 46-55, 56-80, and the top solo runner ages 5-10, 11-13, 14-17.

Start at Barrow Brewing, take a right onto Main Street
Take a right onto Pace Park Road back to Main Street
Take a right onto Van Bibber towards Brookshires/Mill Creek
Take a right onto Salado Plaza Drive
Take a left onto Mill Creek Drive & Main Street
Take a right onto Van Bibber and pass the Police Station
Take a right onto Main Street and head back to Barrow
