Description

The 2019 Event has been CANCELED

The Alamo Run Fest (ARF) is San Antonio's BIG, 'down home, home grown' Spring running event! Comprised of four separate events all on the same weekend, the event will be celebrating its 7th Anniversary March 16th & 17th, 2019.  We were proud to be an 'Official' San Antonio 300 event in 2018, helping the City celebrate it's 300th birthday with a picture perfect day for running and the smoothest and best event by far in the event's short history.  We're looking forward to an even bigger and better race in 2019 and hope you'll join us along with your friends, to experience San Antonio's best 'home grown' Half marathon and Running Festival!

ALL events experience an exhilarating Finish Line INSIDE the Alamodome where the four large video walls broadcast your image crossing the Finish Line with our passionately 'wild' announcers, live music and 'stand-out' finisher medals, all the while surrounded by the Run Fest's Finish Line Festival inside the Alamodome. What other event can actually guarantee you great 'great weather' at the Finish Line?!

Choose from the 'flagship' Alamo Half or one of the other great events... the Alamo 10,000, Alamo 5K or the Kids Classic & 'Ultra-Accessible' Run, Walk & Roll 1K.  With unique downtown San Antonio routes, all events (except the kids run) start from the beautiful North Plaza of the Alamodome.   The 2019 routes (depending on your distance) are expected to be the same in 2019 and again include many scenic and historic landmarks including The Alamo, Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, San Antonio Museum of Art and the Pearl Brewery while crossing the beautiful San Antonio River in numerous locations.  Since 2015 the  Alamo Half has passed onto and through Fort Sam Houston and we are expectantly hopeful it will do so once again in 2019 giving runners six miles to experience this beautiful and historic military base!  The route maps from the 2018 event are all published on our Official website at: AlamoHalf.com  Once the 2019 routes have been given final approval, we'll update the site to reflect the 2019 course are approved.

Find out why entrants in every one of the first six years of the Alamo Run Fest have had so many great things to say about their experience. The number of entries allowed in each event will be limited for the 2019 edition.  Be sure to grab your friends and family and get yourself entered before it fills up! Be a part of the event that continues on a fast track to becoming one of the premier road race events in Texas - the 2019 Alamo Run Fest! And if you are Active Duty Military look for your 20% military discount during registration plus, be sure to check out the military team divisions in case you want to gather some teammates and throw down some challenges!  Join us for the best Alamo Run Fest yet!!!
