A little about Jonah...

In utero,19 weeks, Jonah was diagnosed with a posterior urethral valve obstruction, which caused decreased amniotic fluid. By 27 weeks, he had no fluid and was born at 34 weeks 3 days with moderate to severe Lung disease, major urological issues, and End stage renal disease (kidney failure). Doctors were not 100% sure he would survive his first few days of life. And spent the first five months of his life fighting to stay alive. To date, He has undergone 8 surgeries, receives 12 hour daily peritoneal dialysis, on numerous medications, has OT, PT, and speech therapy daily, has multiple doctors appointments with different specialties, has a new diagnosis of cerebral palsy, and due to his oral aversions bc of kidney disease, he has to be fed via G-tube (feeding machine). He requires 24 hr nursing care and soon to be put on a kidney transplant list and wait for a perfect match to receive a new kidney.
