Description

Race will be timed and scored by Campbell Timing Systems.  Results will be posted at www.campbelltimingsystems.com.  The track is paved and is in the beautiful Rob Fleming Park.  Track winds around the park by the fishing pond, butterfly garden and wooded areas. All participants will receive a race T-Shirt and a Finisher  medal!  Awards will be given out to the top 3 finishers in each age category. Hydration and light snacks will be provided at about the half way point and at the finish line.  This is a dog friendly event! For everyone’s safety, we ask that only well-mannered, vaccinated dogs are in attendance (please clean up after your pet).  No retractable leashes allowed.  Registration for your dog is optional, if you choose to register your dog they will receive chip timing just like you, Bandana and Finisher medal!  Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers in the registered dog category.  Award will also be given for the Best Decorated Stroller/Wagon.  This is a family friendly event. 

Net proceeds benefit SPCA PETS SNAP of M.C. a 501(c)3 non profit all volunteer organization.  SPCA PETS SNAP of Montgomery County passionately supports a community where animals are valued, treated with respect and kindness and provided a secure and loving quality of life. To accomplish our mission we will Rescue and rehabilitate homeless animals providing a safe haven for the animals until a suitable adoptive home is found or until they are reunited with their owner through our "Save More Lives" program.  Through our "Humane Education and Public Awareness" program further the cause of responsible animal ownership, the great need to reduce the pet population by spaying or neutering their pets and encourage a stronger bond between people and their pets.  Provide low-cost spay/neuter services for the people unable to afford to spay or neuter their pets otherwise through our "Last Litter" program.  Our TIN is 26-4733096
