Kaylee & her Mother Kelly created Totally Teal because No One Fights Alone & Kaylee hopes to inspire other women of all ages giving them a little reminder that they too are Brave, Beautiful & Strong just like she is. Our beautiful chemo care bags are filled with items Ovarcomers can safely use while OVARCOMING Ovarian Cancer. Totally Teal is composed of the colors teal and gold as teal is the color of ovarian cancer and the gold represents childhood cancer. Kaylee continues to represent both.
Based on her own expedience, Kaylee thought very carefully about each item and what should be included in her care bags.
2019 - 2023 OvarEmbrace - Totally Teal Care Bags were delivered around the country, Canada, UK & to Australia. We deliver bags to Ovarcomers at Sugar Land Houston Methodist, MD Anderson Cancer Center, The Canopy @ Memorial Herman, Baylor College of Medicine & UT Health. What a joy it is to be able to give a little something to those OVARCOMING in hopes to let them know we were thinking of them. Check out photos below.
We are excited to announce that we are expanding our OvarEmbrace program. On special days throughout the year we will hand out Chemo Care Bags to those going through treatment for ANY type of cancer. Kaylee wants EVERYONE to know they are Brave | Beautiful | Strong. If you support a specific cancer, let us know and come out and represent at our events supporting #DayOfOvarcoming.
With your help Kaylee can continue to grow her OvarEmbrace Program and reach more Ovarcomers in hopes to give a little comfort and to remind them that they are Brave, Beautiful & Strong. 100% of the Totally Teal Trot & Ride for a Cause benefits Kaylee's OvarEmbrace Totally Teal Program & Day of Ovarcoming Program. Together we can Ovarcome.

Kaylee Strong continues to Raise Awareness for Ovarian Cancer
Ovarian cancer ranks fifth in cancer deaths among women, accounting for more deaths than any other cancer of the female reproductive system. A woman's risk of getting ovarian cancer during her lifetime is about 1 in 78. It is one of the most challenging diseases known to medicine and often goes undetected until it has spread within the pelvis and abdomen. Early detection is difficult because symptoms can be mild and vague and could apply to a variety of conditions, such as irritable bowel syndrome or ovarian cysts. 4 in 5 Women will be misdiagnosed & 1 in 4 Women will wait over 6 months to get a correct diagnosis. Advanced-stage ovarian cancer may cause few and nonspecific symptoms that are often mistaken for more common benign conditions.
The most typical ovarian cancer symptoms include:
• Increase in tummy size
• Bloating
•Abdominal/back/pelvic pain
•Needing to urinate more often or urgently
•Bowel changes
•Fatigue
Kaylee Strong Fun Run or Walk proceeds will Benefit Ovarcome, an Ovarian Cancer Foundation. Their Mission is "to raise global awareness, to fund research in search of a cure, and to provide financial support to underserved women in the U.S. as well as developing nations in their valiant fight against ovarian cancer" Our Goal is to bring awareness, educate others about the symptoms and help Ovarcome with their mission.
