1. Do I have to run the whole race?
NO! The UOFUNRUN is designed to have FUN with your friends and family. You can crawl, walk, jog, or run your heart out!
2. What is included with my registration?
Race Registration includes: UOFUNRUN race packet, UOFUNRUN Medal, UOFUNRUN T-shirt, UOFUNRUN gift bag, and many fun surprises along the course!
3. Can I bring a stroller?
Yes! Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome at the UOFUNRUN.
4. Can children participate?
Yes! We would love for your children to join the fun. If they can cover (running, jogging, walking, or strolling) the three miles, they can absolutely participate.
Registration for infants is not required. Medals are only given to registered participants.
5. Can I run with my dog/cat/turtle?
For the safety of our runners and animal friends, we do not allow animals at any of our races.
6. I have questions about making/joining a team…
How does a team work?
You can make your own team or join an existing team. You get to make up a fun creative team name and then walk/run together and have an incredible time!
Is there a “Relay” component to running as a team?
No. You just register together and run. Some teams stay together for the entire run and some separate as they cover the course. Both options are allowed.
What is the best way to CREATE a team during the registration process?
First the team captain registers and chooses the “Team Name”. When you begin registration it will ask you to enter a “Team Name”. If you are unsure of your Team Name or password, reach out to your Team Captain. You can go back and register for a team at any time. (In order to CREATE a team you have to select the option that you are registering yourself and are over 18 years old.) Once that is done, the rest of the team can register. They also choose your ‘Team Name”. Search using the team name and select the team when it pulls up.
Can we wear our own team shirts?
YES! Be as creative as you like! Group themes or costumes are also allowed.
*Pricing is per person…..not per team.
*Creating a team does not hold or reserve spots or pricing! We highly suggest registering as close together as possible.
7. Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
Of course! As long as you send them with a printed or electronic copy of your confirmation email with the QR code on it!
8. Will there be water stations along the course?
Yes. There will be 2 water stations along the course. (see map)
9. Can spectators attend the post-race Finish?
Absolutely. We will have an area reserved for any friends or family coming to CHEER you on.
10. Where can I put my bag, keys, cell phone etc. the day of the race?
The UO FUN RUN race staff will have a BAG CHECK upon arrival. If your bag/items are not picked up by 9:30am we will bring them to Lost & Found.
11. Is The UO FUN RUN timed?
The UO FUN Run will have clocks at each mile. It is not a chipped race. We suggest self-timing for anyone desiring an exact finish time.
12. Are there refunds?
There are no refunds for the UOFUNRUN. If for some reason you can’t make it to race day, at least come to the Packet Pickup, pick up your gear, and say hi to us!
13. Can I transfer my registration to another person?
Registrations are transferable. If you end up not being able to attend the event, you can transfer your registration to friend or family member. Please reach out to the race staff through the Race Contact Info link on the Race Info page. Transfer request must be made by Friday, November 23, 2018.
14. Will there be a virtual component?
No. Hopefully next year!
