APTA is doing a 5K! Join virtually or in person on Saturday, July 22 for the National Landing APTA 5K Your Way. This event is brought to you by the American Physical Therapy Association and sponsored by Brooks Running and HPSO. If you’re joining us in-person, the race starts at APTA Centennial Center, 3030 Potomac Ave., Alexandria, Virginia.

Joining us virtually? First 100 registrants will receive a medal and t-shirt. All proceeds from the event will go to support the local Alexandria charity Move2Learn.  

Packet pickup will take place in a tent on the APTA plaza on Friday, July 21 from 4-7 p.m. and from 5-7 p.m. on race day. Runners will receive a race shirt, swag bag, and finishers medal. 

Join us for a  post race celebration with live music until 9:00 p.m. Top 3 winners in each age group will receive an award. 

Move2Learn is the only organization in the region that offers robust programming and equipment to keep students moving before, during and after school—to help them reach their highest potential by using movement to transform learning. Their programs range from out-of-school programming to active seating to learning lessons for teachers. All free to students, right at their schools.
