The Frozen Booty 8k presented by Moms RUN This Town

Gorgeous course, great company and a fantastic after party - the hallmarks of a great race!  Join us for the Frozen Booty 8k to kick of your 2015.  We will run through historic Ft. Monroe, land first explored by Captain Christopher Newport in 1607, and a strategic launching point of the US Military (and some pirates) since then.  

The 8k course will take you along the seawall bordering the Chesapeake Bay, past historic buidlings and bunkers and around the moat of the actual fortified Ft. Monroe National Monument.  

You do not need a special ID to access the Community Center.  There is plenty of free parking.  Prizes for the top 5 finishers as well as the person who comes in directly in the middle and the one who brings up the rear.    We will also have a Costume Contest and a HOLD THE PLANK CHALLENGE!  This race is open to all ages, just be aware that there will not be seperate prizes and goody bags for men or kids - they will get the same fantastic items that the moms get.  Registration includes entry into the race, goody bag (for the frist 40 registered), entry into the after party, refreshemnts and one raffle ticket.  

*Note since medals will come from MRTT National they may not be available on race day; the cost of the medal is NOT included in race registration.  You will have the option to add on the medal at checkout, and it will be mailed to you as soon as production is complete.  Don't worry , you goody bag will be STOCKED!

*Please be aware that race registration fees are non-refundable for any reason.  In the event of inclement weather we will do our best to reschedule the race.  You may transfer your registration if you are unable to attend the race, but you must notify the race director by December 31, 2014.
