Description

This 5K event and 1K jog (for participants under 18) will make its way through the heart of historic downtown Harrisonburg, VA. It is fully professionally timed. Located at the end of the National Athletic Training Month, this race serves to raise awareness for the profession of athletic training and honor its important professionals. This year our honoree will be Nancy Burke, the first James Madison University graduate to enter the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA)Hall of Fame. This run is the primary fundraiser for the Madison Athletic Training Student Association (MATSA), in association with James Madison University (JMU) and its Sports Medicine Department.
