It's that time again for the Richmond Road Runners Club's Cul-de-sac 5k race series! This year, there will be an in-person and virtual race option.
The in-person race will take place on Monday, July 5th, at 7:00 pm at Henrico County's Deep Run Park.
The virtual race will take place anywhere and the time you would like to run between July 5th-July 8th. Once complete, report your time under Results.

Runners must be 8 years of age or older to participate in this in-person hot weather race. Runners who are 8-9 years of age must be accompanied for the entire race by a parent, guardian, or coach registered for and running the race.

Youth Pricing for both in-person and virtual races: For all runners 5-12 years of age, the price is $5 plus the processing fee.

THERE IS NO ON-SITE RACE DAY REGISTRATION FOR THIS RACE.
Refund Policy: Registrants for this in-person Cul-de-sac 5k may transfer to the virtual Cul-de-sac 5k at no cost through July 5, 2021. To request a transfer to the virtual race, log into your RunSignup account, find Cul-de-sac 5k under your Upcoming Races, and click "Manage Registration."
Registrations cannot be deferred to a later race. Bib numbers are not transferrable. There will be no refunds in the event of postponements or cancellations due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
The race is limited to the first 300 participants. Registration will be closed when capacity is reached.
There is no giveaway for participation in this race.
There will be no awards presentation for this individual race. RRRC members participating in the Grand Prix competition will receive points for participation and for placing in their 5-year age-group for this race.
The race will be chip-timed by Richmond Road Runners Club. Results will posted on this website.
The 3.1-mile loop course will primarily be on Deep Run Park's asphalt trails and cross the Park roads. Please see the map for the planned route. NOTE: Baby/child strollers/joggers/dogs are not permitted.
This is a race conducted under the rules of USATF and RRCA. Considering all participants' safety, the following are not allowed during the race: baby joggers, baby strollers, animals (on or off leash), skateboards, inline or roller skates, or bicycles. The use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged in this race. To enjoy all that our race has to offer and for all participants' safety, RRRC encourages a headphone-free environment during the running of the Carytown 10k at Pocahontas State Park.
Other users of the park may be on the trails during the race. Please be courteous to them, warn them of your approach, and be careful passing them and their dogs.
THIS IS A TRAIL RACE. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SAFETY. BE ALERT FOR ROOTS, STONES, MUD, TREE LIMBS, ETC. BE ALERT, WATCH FOR TRAFFIC & PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR FELLOW RUNNERS, COURSE MARSHALS, POLICE, AND OTHER USERS OF THE TRAIL.
The Richmond Road Runners Club will time the race. Results will be posted online on the RRRC website and this race page (see Results tab).
