Description
This past year we lost an important member in our Blue Jay Community, Coach Chris McNeill. This May we will be holding a virtual Blue Jay 5K & Hero Mile in his memory. Coach McNeill had a love for physical fitness and touched many lives during his teaching career. Every student who came through his classroom door felt his passion.
In previous years, the proceeds from the race were designated to a Scholarship fund created in honor of Officer Philip Michael Pennington our school's namesake. This year we will continue the tradition of awarding a scholarship in Officer Pennington's name. In addition to the honoring the scholarship, all of the proceeds from this year's race will be donated to Coach McNeill’s Wife to help with her expenses.
So, grab your running/walking shoes and join us in honoring a fantastic coach and mentor.

Packet Pick Up
Packet Pick Up will be held on Thursday, May 12th from 3:45pm-5:45pm at the school.

Submitting Your Results
How to Track Your Distance and Time:
There are several great tracking apps out there! For those with an Apple Watch, Fitbit, etc. you can track your 5K directly on your device. We recommend experimenting to find the app that works best for you, but some popular options are: Runkeeper, Run with Map My Run, Nike Run Club, and Strava.
Please track your distance and finish time and submit your time HERE.
You must submit your results starting on May 1st. All results must be submitted by 11:59pm on May 15th!
