Before you chow down on Thanksgiving feast, come run the Fast Before the Feast 5K on the scenic roads of Mariners' Museum Park. This is a race for the whole family that welcomes both runners and walkers. Medals will be presented to all finishers. Only 900 participants are allowed for this popular run, so sign up early. THERE IS NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.

Long-sleeved shirts guaranteed only to all early registrants. After November 1, 2019, registrants may select shirt size based upon availability. Unclaimed shirts will not be mailed.
We are offering the option for runners and walkers to participate but would not receive a t-shirt. You will still receive a medal upon completion of the race and enjoy the other amenities of the race. We understand that some participants do not pick up their shirts by race day, and there could be shirts available, but only after the completion of the race.
Medals will be given to all finishers of the race. You must complete the event to earn the medal.
Chip timing will be used to score the event and a wave start with corrals will be instituted to give participants more room on the course. You will receive more instructions on this process as the race draws near.

With more than 500 members, Peninsula Track Club serves the Virginia Peninsula and surrounding communities. Our goal is to promote and encourage long distance running and educate the public to its benefits. Founded in 1955, the PTC is the oldest running club in Virginia and is currently involved in over 35 events annually, ranging from 5Ks to ultramarathons. Since the vast majority of race costs are incurred prior to a race and are non-refundable, we do not issue refunds for the event.
In the event you are unable to participate, you have two options:
1) Defer your entry to next year's race.
2) Transfer your entry to another runner. This must be done by November 22, 2019.
