Description
Richmond Road Runners Club offers this no-frills 3-miler featuring old-time trail/cross-country racing at its best. For 2024, we again will run on the trails of Robious Landing Park in Midlothian, but we're also offering a virtual option.
The Huguenot 3 Miler @ Robious Landing Park will be an in-person race on Sunday, March 3.
The Virtual Huguenot 3 Miler will allow you to run when, where, and with whom you please from Saturday, March 2, through Monday, March 4. You'll get instructions on posting your finish time before race days.
Both events are RRRC Grand Prix (GP) events for 2024. RRRC GP participants receive a race point for posting a time for either event. RRRC GP participants in the in-person race will receive place points based on overall and age group finish times.
NOTE: Details below about packet pick-up and race day activities are tentative and subject to change. Registered participants will receive updated information the days before the race.

Runners must be 5 years old or older to participate in this 3-mile trail race.
Registration Fees
- In-person race:
- On-line registration prices until Sunday, March 3 @ 8:59 AM are: RRRC members - $10 plus processing fee; non-members - $15 plus processing fee.
- No race day registration.
- Virtual race:
- On-line registration prices until Monday, March 4 @ 11:59 PM are: RRRC members - $5 plus processing fee; non-members - $15 plus processing fee.
- Youth Pricing: For both races all runners 5-12 years of age, the price is $5 plus processing fee.
Any discounts will be applied at check out.
Refund Policy: All entry fees and processing fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, no exceptions. Registrations cannot be deferred to a later race. Bib numbers are not transferrable. In the event of postponements or cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, there will be no refunds.
Registrants for the in-person Huguenot 3 Miler may transfer to the virtual Huguenot 3 Miler at no-cost through Friday, March 1, 2024.
If the in-person Huguenot 3 Miler must be cancelled, there will be no refunds. All registered runners will be transferred to the virtual Huguenot 3 Miler.
No Frills Features
YES...fun, supportive racing atmosphere.
NO...no race shirt...but you will receive an RRRC reusable cup!
YES...awards to be announced...but nothing fancy.
YES...post-race refreshments.
NO...water stop along the course. Bring your own bottle and fluid if you need fluids during the run.
Course & Course Rules
This is a trail race! The 3-mile, 2-loop course will primarily be on the trails and paths of Robious Landing Park. Please see the map for the planned route. NOTE: Baby/child strollers/joggers are not permitted...this trail is NOT stroller-friendly.
This is a race conducted under the rules of USATF and RRCA. In consideration of the safety of all participants, the following are not allowed on the course during the race: baby joggers, baby strollers, animals (on or off leash), skateboards, inline or roller skates, or bicycles. The use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged at this race. To enjoy all that our race has to offer and for the safety of all participants, RRRC encourages a headphone-free environment during the running of the Huguenot 3 Miler.
Other users of the park may be on the trails during the race. Please be courteous to them, warn them of your approach and be careful passing them and their dogs.
THIS IS A TRAIL RACE. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SAFETY. BE ALERT FOR ROOTS, STONES, MUD, TREE LIMBS, ETC. BE ALERT, WATCH FOR TRAFFIC & PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR FELLOW RUNNERS, COURSE MARSHALS, POLICE AND OTHER USERS OF THE TRAIL.
