Richmond Road Runners Club again will offer this no-frills 3-miler featuring old-time racing at its best. It is a fast, flat course on the trails of Huguenot Park and a little bit of the streets in the park and surrounding neighborhood.
The listed date is tentative and subject to change.
The 3-mile course primarily is on the trails of Huguenot Park, but some sections are on roadways in and around the park. The race starts on the roadway in front of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, enters the park behind the Midlothian Athletic Club and then returns to Midlothian Athletic Club for the finish. Runners do one loop section of the park trail twice during the race. The course map is the 2017 course and is subject to change.
This is a road race conducted under the rules of USATF and RRCA. In consideration of the safety of all participants, the following are not allowed on the course during the race: baby joggers, baby strollers, animals on leash, skateboards, inline or roller skates, or bicycles. The use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged at this race. To enjoy all that our race has to offer and for the safety of all participants, RRRC encourages a headphone-free environment during the running of the Huguenot 3 Miler.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR SAFETY. BE ALERT, WATCH FOR TRAFFIC & PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR FELLOW RUNNERS, COURSE MARSHALS, AND POLICE.
