Description
Do you like to cheer, whoop & holler, and otherwise make a fool of yourself? Then you are the perfect volunteer for the RRRC Spirit Stop along the course of the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10K.
Our spot is at Monument Avenue & Staples Mill Road (at the 10K turnaround). We need 15 committed volunteers to show up with super positive attitudes, an eagerness to cheer on the runners (start exercising those vocal cords now), noisemakers, funny hats, signs, etc. RRRC will provide our pop-up shelter, sound system and other necessities.
PLEASE VOLUNTEER EARLY! WE WANT TO KNOW THAT WE HAVE COMMITTED VOLUNTEERS BEFORE COMMITTING TO TAKING THIS SPIRIT STOP!
Get your T. Rex on!
Last year, we had three RRRC volunteers in T. Rex costumes. They were a great hit with runners passing the halfway point in the 10K. Check out the video clip!
We'd love to see a small terror of T. Rexes at RRRC's Spirit Stop this year.
Plan to suit up and come out for a fun day cheering on runners and doing those T. Rex dance moves.
