Thank you for viewing our race information. Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19 and the recommendations of the Center for Disease Control, we have decided to postpone this race to a later date. It is our mission to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our clients, staff, volunteers and the community who supports us, which leads us to believe that this is the best decision at this time. We will be looking at dates after mid-May to reschedule the event, but we will not know for sure until we get closer to that time.
If you have already paid your registration fee, we wanted to provide you with a few options on applying or obtaining that fee however you choose to do so.
- You can apply the fee to the future date of the 5K (in the event that we cannot reschedule the event before the end of the year, we can issue you a refund or apply to next year's event, whichever you choose)
- Issue you a refund as you do not wish to participate in the future date
- Donate your registration fee to New Directions Center for continuation of services throughout this crisis (we can still issue you a Tshirt at a later time)Please let us know which option you choose and we will be sure to follow up with you at our earliest convenience to apply that option.

Description
New Directions Center, Inc. is hosting its third annual 5k Color Walk/Run this April! The event will help our organization raise funds for client services, in particular victims of sexual assault in our community. Such services include our 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, counseling and support groups, court advocacy and accompaniment through the justice system, and hospital accompaniment during PERK exams. It is our mission to support every survivor of sexual assault in our community, as well as to prevent future sexual assault through our outreach and educational programs. Last year, we raised enough funds to support 50 survivors of sexual assault at no cost to them!
The Color Run will be held at Montgomery Hall Park in Staunton, VA! This TRAIL RUN has grassy and dirt trails with varying elevations through the woods.
Pick up for race bib and tee shirt and last-minute registration will begin at 7:30 am and the race will start at 8:00 am.
- Adults Early Bird Special through March 13th: $30
- Adults after Early Bird Special: $40
- Children (Ages 6-15): $15
- Children: (5 and under): Free
