Description
Back by popular demand. Join us for this sprint triathlon hosted by Basin Harbor Resort and Boat Club. This race is fast and fun due to the fact that the course is relatively flat. The race begins at the beach for a 500 yard swim - staying close to shore along the eastern shore of Lake Champlain heading north and swimming back. Once you finish the swim, you'll walk, jog or run .2 miles to the fields across from the Red Mill Restaurant where you'll transition to your bike and later to your run. The course for all three events is extremely scenic. While the swim and run stay within the Basin Harbor Resort, the bike ventures out into surrounding farmlands and along the Otter Creek before returning to Basin Harbor. The scenery is worth the drive.
Participate in this race as an individual completing the entire race, or join a team of 2 or 3. The venue is worth the trip!
All racers whose registration is received by June 23 will receive a free commemorative race shirt.
This race is limited to 200 individuals/teams. Do not wait until the last minute to register as we do expect this race to sell out early this year.
